Transforming Lives

TAMOJA Foundation was founded in 2023 by a group of advocates who saw a need for prevention of gender-based violence among youth in our community.

Our Board of Directors is made up of public health professionals, healthcare systems leaders, program managers, and other professionals who are passionate about supporting Latino youth and prevention of violence in our community.

Monica Guerrero Vazquez is passionate about positive youth development through compassionate empowerment. Like many Latinos across the world, Monica has survived gender-based violence. Determined to prevent violence from happening, she started working in gender-based violence research since 2018.
