Women who have been exposed to intimate partner violence are more at risk of becoming victims of the same violence. In this area of work, we focus on addressing the perpetration of violence through healing in form of mental health workshops with a violence prevention lens. Adults and youth participate in workshops from mental health and trauma, to economic empowerment trainings.
Every year, 1 in 4 adolescents experience verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse from a dating partner. In this area, we focus on the promotion of evidence-based content to prevent and to recognize the signs of violence early. Through participatory-action approaches, girls and other youth learn the journey of healthy dating, healthy relationships, self- and community-advocacy to build a future without violence.
